360 Sprinter Car – Passbys. Sprint cars are high-powered race cars designed primarily for the purpose of running on short oval or circular dirt or paved tracks. These things are wicked cool and it was a pleasure to be invited out to record one. I had a Zoom H6, with 2 DPA 4061s strapped to the car for onboard sounds, and an H5 on the sidelines with two Rode NT5s capturing passbys.
